Devlog 30 of 30 | The LAST DEVLOG from the challenge! Level Selection Screen


My challenge is finally complete! 30 videos out of 30.

In this devlog, I redesigned the level selection screen. Instead of a grid of text buttons, I made a graph. Each node of the graph is a level. When the player completes the last level in the chain, he will be able to choose a planet or another astro-object with its own set of levels.

I like how this screen turned out. It already looks like something from the game, and not some prototype. And this approach gives some flexibility in the levels. For example, make 4 or 6 levels associated with one astro-object. And I can easily add new astro-objects.
