Devlog 8 | Boomerang and missle. Sweet couple
I gradually began to implement all the bullets that were voted for.
Don’t forget to add the game in your collections! I’m going to post a public demo in a few days.
The first one from the post is a boomerang. A cool weapon. Sometimes the player misses during a frontal attack on the enemy. He sharply makes an evasive maneuver to avoid the enemy shot. And the boomerang still destroys the enemy on the way back. Overall, a complex weapon. Still needs some work.
I also decided to show an idea not from the post. A guided missile! The missile gradually picks up speed and turns after the player, BUT AT ITS OWN speed! At long distances, the player can adjust the trajectory if he initially missed. In a clinch, this is an excellent bullet for a counter-attack on a turn.
Overall, it’s cool that there is now some variability in completing levels. Can’t get through with one weapon? Try with another :-)
