Devlog 12 | BLOODLUST! Pilot passive abilities.


I continue to complete the challenge - a full game in 30 devlogs. Already 12!

In this devlog, I would like to show the first passive skill of the pilot - bloodlust. The passive skill gives a small bonus when the corresponding condition is met. Bloodlust gives acceleration to the player’s ship if there are few enemies left. Activation of the skill is accompanied by a sound effect.

I also added a sound effect and a background for achievement notifications. Game achievements are an important part of the gameplay, because… achievements provide in-game currency necessary to upgrade the player’s ship.

And also fixed small bugs.

Next I’m going to create several locations in different visual styles. What style would you like to see the location in?

  • Hell, inferno, demons!
  • Sea theme, bubbles instead of asteroids
  • Endless desert, sand clouds
